Pipestem Resort State Park is calling all you paper plane engineers out there to take flight in an upcoming contest. The resort will host a Paper Airplane Flying Contest on April 4 at noon.  The park hosts the family-friendly contest in a six-part series to crown the regional "Champion of All Paper Flyers."   This free event is open to all ages to attend and is divided into three categories. #SummersCounty #WOAY

A local school community is stepping up to help after a devastating fire. Logan Elementary School suffered a fire this past weekend, leaving classrooms with nearly nothing. Now, students and staff at Summers County Comprehensive High School are organizing a supply drive to help them rebuild. 

Chef Marion is bringing elevated flavor to Pipestem Resort State Park for a special one-night event. On Saturday, March 7, the park will host “Cellar to Table,” an evening showcasing the chef’s culinary expertise. #SummersCounty #WOAY
