One of those opportunities is Concord Cool Academy: Tracks to the Future, happening June 16-19 at Concord University. Students will be able to explore career-focused tracks, including fine arts, creative writing, education, sports medicine, and nursing.  The second camp is the GEAR UP Southern West Virginia and WVU Tech STEM Camp, scheduled for June 29 to July 1. The hospital assures that patient care has not been affected by the outage. The emergency department is operational and accepting patients. The hospital is working on backup plans to control temperatures inside the facility. Staff will reach out to patients who have procedures scheduled if their appointments need to be rescheduled. Authorities are searching for 87-year-old Billy Lambert. Lambert has dementia and Parkinson's disease, and reportedly had less than a week's worth of medication with him. Witnesses report last seeing him on Friday, May 15, in Atmore, Alabama, around 4:00 pm, and he was believed to be traveling to Princeton. Lambert was driving a 2014 Dark Gray Jeep Compass with Black Rims with a License plate reading  #30A28TN. Last 6 of the car's VIN is 769733. #MercerCounty #WOAY

The students tragically passed following an accident involving three vehicles on Courthouse Road in Princeton this morning. Hospital officials announced Dr. Emeka Eziri has joined the medical staff as a board-certified pulmonologist and internist.   Dr. Eziri brings nearly 30 years of experience in pulmonary and critical care medicine and has held several clinical leadership roles throughout his career.   The new clinic will provide diagnosis and treatment for conditions including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, lung infections, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic cough, and other breathing disorders.   #MercerCounty #WOAY

On Tuesday, May 5, the pantry will be in Mercer County at the Mitchell Stadium parking lot. Then on Thursday, May 7, the food bank moves to Monroe County at the Lindside Methodist church.
