Hinton, WV (WOAY)- Big changes in leadership out of Hinton
The city has officially named Megan Turner as its new city manager.
Turner, who previously served as the city’s executive assistant for just under a year, is stepping into her new role this month.
City officials say Turner quickly became a trusted leader, praised for her organizational skills, community dedication, and deep understanding of local government.
Her hands-on experience working with city staff and leadership is credited with preparing her for this new chapter.
In a statement, Turner said she’s honored to serve and is excited to continue working with citizens, businesses, and partners to move the city forward, saying, “together, we can create a bright future for Hinton.”
In her new role, Turner will now oversee daily operations, city projects, and spearhead communication, engagement, and development efforts.
