Deputies say the theft happened sometime between July 6 and July 9. The stolen vehicle is a gray, black, and orange 2018 Can-Am Commander XT.  Investigators say the thieves also took six rifles, five pistols, a crossbow, ammunition, multiple tools, credit cards, and other valuable items.  #KanawhaCounty #WOAY

Deputies say they responded to a Par Mar convenience store in Chelyan after a man entered the business suffering from an apparent stab wound. Investigators quickly identified a suspect who had barricaded himself inside a nearby residence.  Authorities say deputies, along with the West Virginia State Police and U.S. Marshals, spent several hours attempting to resolve the situation using less-lethal tactics peacefully. During the investigation, officers also learned another man inside the home was not being allowed to leave.  #KanawhaCounty #WOAY
