House of Delegates seeks to remove Fayette delegate,teacher following arrest on federal charges
West Virginia Speaker of the House of Delegates Roger Hanshaw has delivered a letter to Governor Patrick Morrisey, asking him to call an extraordinary session that would consider and act on a resolution expelling Delegate Elliott Pritt, who has been arrested on a federal charge of enticement of a minor and is accused of sending and requesting sexually explicit images to a fifteen year old girl and engaging in sexual activity with her in a Fayette County classroom.

West Virginia School Superintendent Michelle Blatt has suspended the teacher certification held by Fayette County high school teacher and West Virginia Delegate David Elliott Pritt and says Pritt has been suspended without pay by Fayette County Superintendent David Warvel.
