Fayette County man faces felony abuse and neglect charges following death of elderly mother
A Fayette County man is facing charges in connection with the death of an incapacitated adult.
According to Sheriff Jess McMullen, on March 17 at 8:08 p.m., Fayette County Medical Examiner Scott Corder contacted Fayette County Sheriff's Detective Bureau deputies to notify them about the death of a 60-year-old female at CAMC.
Based on Corder's examination, he suspected the deceased woman suffered from neglect, noting severe and deteriorated wounds.
