Raleigh County man sentenced to 10 years in connection with methamphetamine distribution case
50-year-old John Thompson received a 10-year sentence followed by five years of supervised release for aiding and abetting the distribution of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.Â
According to court documents, Thompson arranged the sale of approximately 205 grams of meth to a confidential informant in March of 2024.Â

Federal prosecutors say 51-year-old Roger Lee Cousins was sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison for distributing cocaine.Â
Court documents show Cousins sold cocaine and fentanyl to a confidential informant during several transactions in late 2024, including one deal involving more than 14 grams of cocaine and 27 grams of fentanyl.Â
