Virginia man facing robbery charges following incident at a Tazewell Subway restaurant
According to authorities, on Monday evening, an intoxicated man entered the rear entrance of a Subway location in North Tazewell where he was formerly employed.Â
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Matthew Wayne Bradley of Bandy, Virginia, allegedly walked to the cash register in the front of the restaurant and began taking cash out.

AAA analysis highlights concerns that kids are transitioning out of car...
Between 2020 and 2024, 78% of three-year-olds injured in crashes were properly restrained in a child safety seat or booster seat.Â
But by age six, that number dropped to just 45%.Â
AAA says new inspection data also found that 86.5% of children evaluated in 2025 had transitioned to an adult seat belt too soon.Â
West Virginia law requires children under eight years old who are under 57 inches tall to use a proper child safety restraint.
