State Police investigate following officer involved shooting in Greenbrier County
Authorities report that on Monday, April 6, at 11:57 p.m., officers responded to a call reporting shots fired at Greenbrier West High School.Â
While patrolling the area, deputies heard more gunshots coming from a wooded area on the west side of campus and went to investigate.Â
Upon arrival, they saw a light moving through the woods and discovered a person in the area.Â
Authorities issued commands to the individual, who then reportedly fired a pistol at the deputies.Â
