Talcott Fire Department to host annual Parade of Lights on December 20

Talcott, WV (WOAY) Talcott is all aglow with excitement for the upcoming Parade of Lights.

The Talcott Fire Department sponsors the annual event, which takes place on Saturday, December 20, at 6:00 pm.

Anyone interested in including their vehicle in the parade is more than welcome.

Organizers encourage residents with 4-wheelers, SXS, and pickups to join in the fun and light up the city. 

The route will be the same as last year, beginning at Barger Springs Road, continuing to Lowell Back Road, and through Pence Springs to WV 3/12.  

From there, the parade moves west through Talcott to Hilldale, heading south on WV 12 to Forest Hill.  

After turning around in Forest Hill, the parade comes to 4H camp road, following the route tp barger springs road toward Doc Fox Road.  

The parade will then move from Doc Fox Road back to Barger Springs Road, returning to Talcott.

The parade ends at the future home of the Talcott Fire Department, located beside the post office.  

Santa Claus will be on the scene with hot chocolate and cookies.
