Princeton, WV (WOAY) Culturefest World Music & Arts Festival kicks off today in Princeton’s Mercer Street Grassroots District.
The free festival runs through September 13 and features more than 30 performances, along with workshops, art, food, vendors, and activities for kids.
Organizers say much of the festival will be protected from the weather, with three of the four stages located indoors.
The Town Square stage will also be covered by a large event tent.
Free parking is available within walking distance, and visitors are encouraged to explore the locally owned shops, restaurants, galleries, and other businesses throughout the Grassroots District.
Culturefest is free to attend and will take place rain or shine.
