Athens, WV (WOAY) High school students from West Virginia and Virginia will have a chance to put their business skills to the test this fall.
Concord University’s Department of Business will host the 33rd annual Concord Business Challenge on October 22 at 9:00 am.
The competition is open to high school juniors and seniors.
The challenge features events in areas including accounting, communications, finance, economics, computer applications, hospitality, management, marketing and business math.
First-, second-, and third-place winners will be recognized in each competition.
An awards ceremony will follow at 12:30, with 12 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 awarded.
The top two finishers will qualify for up to $4,000 in scholarships over eight semesters.
