Pipestem, WV (WOAY) Bird lovers of all ages are invited to get an up-close look at some of West Virginia’s native birds of prey.
The “Wings of Wonder: WV Birds of Prey” program is coming to Pipestem Resort State Park on September 6 at 2:00 p.m.
The free, interactive program will feature six live bird ambassadors, including owls, falcons, a raven, hawk, and bald eagle Regis.
Guests can learn about the birds’ habitats, diets, unique abilities and the dangers they face in the wild.
The program will also offer tips for protecting wild birds and a chance to ask questions.
The event will be held in the Conference Center and is open to the public.
