Pipestem, WV (WOAY) The Sgt. Mecot Camara Marine Corps League is getting ready for its 5th annual Memorial Ruck at Pipestem Resort State Park.
The event will take place this weekend, with activities beginning Friday, October 2, and the ruck set for Saturday, October 3.
Participants can choose from three trail levels, including a one-mile beginner route and a more challenging 7.5-mile course through the park’s hills.
All trails will be marked and will start and finish at the same location.
Registration is $20 per person and includes food on Saturday, along with entertainment Friday and Saturday night.

Organizers encourage participants to stay at Pipestem State Park and enjoy the fall scenery.
