WV Dis(EN)abled Inc. invites community to attend press conference on Wednesday, March 11 in Beckley

Beckley, WV (WOAY) A new nonprofit is stepping up to make Southern West Virginia more accessible for people with physical disabilities.

WV Dis(EN)abled, Inc., a newly formed organization, will hold a press conference on Wednesday, March 11, at 10:30 a.m. in the Tamarack Boardroom to announce the launch of its first regional program.
The initiative aims to remove everyday barriers, expand access to essential services, and support individuals with mobility-related challenges across eleven counties, including Raleigh, Fayette, Mercer, and Boone.
Founder and Executive Director Curtis Yearego says, “Accessibility shouldn’t depend on your income or ZIP code.
Organizers say the program is the first step toward making Southern West Virginia one of the most accessible regions in the nation.”
The press conference will highlight the program’s scope, early partnerships, and phased rollout plan.
