WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A fierce weather system will trigger gusty winds, storms and snow overnight tonight through Thursday morning.

A strong frontal system will bring the chance for gusty showers and thunder for Wednesday. A wind advisory is also in effect for the area starting late this evening throughout the day tomorrow, where winds could gust up to 40 MPH.

- First round of gusty showers arrive just in time for Wednesday morning commute
- A slight risk (level 2) risk for severe weather for Wednesday. Gusty winds will be the main threat with an outside chance for an isolated tornado
- A break in the action will be likely before tracking additional showers towards afternoon
- Temperatures turn sharply colder late tomorrow evening, allowing for any rain to change over to snow. Light accumulations will be possible Wednesday night into early Thursday
