WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Foggy conditions have developed across the region, which may cause some issues for the morning commute. Drive slow and use your low beams until the fog dissipates later this morning. Temperatures are also quite brisk for this time of the year, and a couple of places have dipped into the upper 40s. A jacket will be warranted this morning before the sunshine warms us up this afternoon. Conditions will become much better later today as temperatures reach the upper 70s and skies stay sunny all day long. Make sure to get out and enjoy it for a bit! Tomorrow morning will feature temperatures and fog similar to Monday morning, but the afternoon will be warmer and slightly cloudier. High temperatures reach the lower 80s tomorrow afternoon, which will be more typical for the season. Skies start mostly sunny, but will become partly sunny by evening time. A few showers will form to our east, but most rainy activity will hold off until Thursday morning.
After Wednesday, the next round of showers will move through. Storms remain scattered both Thursday and Friday, which means not everyone will be affected equally. Activity begins Thursday morning, peaks in the afternoon and evening, and dwindles overnight. Storms are trending to remain sub-severe, but a rogue gusty storm is possible. Rainfall is also trending lighter, which combined with a drier start to the week will keep flood risks off the table this week. Showers and storms will return on Friday, but activity remains isolated for the end of the work week. The last of the rain will fall Friday evening, which is just in time for the weekend.
After the rain moves on Friday evening, conditions stay calm this weekend. High temperatures stay in the low to mid-80s and skies remain mostly sunny. It will be a great time to get those last summer activities or any needed yard work in. If you stay out for an extended period, remember plenty of water and sun protection.
