WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The National Weather Service has issued both a Winter Storm Warning and a Winter Storm Advisory for our area in preparation for the beck-end snow coming through the area tomorrow. Most areas should expect dry, powdery snow to accumulate, with 2-3″ falling in most areas.
After the snow, the arctic air will settle in on Monday, giving us very cold temperatures for most of the next week. Lows will reach below zero in the middle of it, and highs will be in the teens. Make sure to wear plenty of layers and have blankets in your car just in case. The cold will finally break on Friday as a slight chance of snow comes around and temperatures become seasonable again.
