WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The heaviest of the snow has passed us, but there will be more in store tomorrow as it will come in bursts much like last weekend. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the details:
The snow will last through the day Thursday and linger into Friday morning, totaling 3-6″ across most of the area. Luckily, this stuff will be easy to shovel and great for sledding and winter sports due to the snow being dry and powdery. Good news for travel as well, most roads will be cleared by Friday afternoon.
Friday into the weekend will warm up significantly as temperatures rise from the 20s all the way to the high forties by Monday. With the warmth also comes wonderful conditions for the first time in a while, giving us a much-needed break from the elements to end off the week. Tuesday and Wednesday will be our next rain chance, with some snow potentially on Wednesday as well.
