New River Gorge National Park and Preserve seeking three summer interns through the American Conservation Experience program to work at Canyon Rim Visitor Center

Lansing, WV (WOAY)  Looking for a summer opportunity in the great outdoors?

The National Park Service is hiring three summer interns at New River Gorge National Park and Preserve through the American Conservation Experience program.

Interns will spend 12 weeks working with the park’s interpretive team in the north district at the Canyon Rim Visitor Center.

The role focuses on engaging visitors and leading regular educational programs throughout the summer season.

Park officials say it’s a chance to gain hands-on experience while helping connect the public with one of the nation’s newest national parks.
