Beckley, WV (WOAY) The community will have the chance to shop local and support a good cause at an upcoming community vendor event this weekend in Beckley.
The 4th Annual REFIT Beckley Craft and Vendor Show returns on Saturday, March 7, at 114 Lebanon Lane in Beckley from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Local crafters and vendors will be on hand offering a variety of handmade and specialty items.
Organizers say the event will also serve as a fundraiser to help REFIT Beckley instructors attend their annual training conference, known as RECON.
The training helps instructors bring new knowledge and skills back to their free weekly fitness classes in the community.
Those instructors are part of the Active Southern West Virginia (Active SWV) Community Captains program, breaking down barriers to health and wellness across southern West Virginia.
Organizers remind the public to watch out for scammers, saying they will never request payments without proper vetting and approval first.
