WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Today’s temperature will break 60° and feature sunny skies in the afternoon, making for the best day we’ve seen all year so far. However, weather is on the way. Meteorologist Christian Boteler dives into the details:
Showers will show up tomorrow afternoon and change to flurries in the morning on Friday before clearing out to sunny skies to end the week. Little accumulation will occur during this event. Saturday will feature isolated showers and cloudy skies in the region, followed by sunny skies on Sunday to end off the weekend. Make sure to have your rain jacket ready for your late week and weekend plans.
Monday starts off nicely with mostly sunny skies and clouds building at night before the next system blows by on Tuesday. Rain will start Tuesday afternoon and continue into next Wednesday. Rain seems to just keep coming in the mountain state, as we have already broken many precipitation records in our area.
