Fire Department: Don’t leave hand sanitizer in your car when it’s warm outside

(WOAY) – Fire officials warn of the dangers of leaving hand sanitizer in your car.

The Western Lakes Fire Department District posted that hand sanitizer is alcohol based and flammable.  Keeping it in your car during hot weather, exposing it to the sun causing magnification of light through the bottle can lead to disaster.
