FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WAOY) – Fayetteville is hosting a community clean up starting tomorrow morning.
The clean up will be located in the parking lot of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building on West Maple Avenue. Those who bring items to the parking lot must haul their own appliances and household accessories.
“We’ve decided that it’s definitely something that we need in town,” said Fayetteville Superintendent Matt Diederich. “Give everybody an opportunity, I think they’ve been doing a lot of cleaning and cleaning out of their houses. Kind of an end strategy to get rid of that stuff and get it off your property. An easier way and a convenient way for them to get it to the dump.”
The clean up will last from 8 am on Friday through 3 pm on Saturday.
