Clouds Give Way to High Pressure

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): We’ll start cloudy again, but they will eventually dissipate as we go through the day. Our eastern counties may get some light showers, but we stay dry otherwise. Rain totals will be, unfortunately, insignificant across affected areas. The rain will quickly dry up as high pressure pushes through the region tomorrow and Friday. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the full forecast:

Thursday and Friday stay nice and warm, right above 80 degrees, bringing in sunny weather for the upcoming high school football games in the second half of the week. The low temperatures will also be milder, making any late night activities a bit more bearable with short sleeves or a light hoodie. These warmer temperature stick around for a little while longer, even past this weekend. Here’s a look at the 6-10 Day Temperature Outlook:

Sunday is where we start to see fleeting chances of rain once again. A frontal system is making its way through the region, but it will be a warm front with not much moisture associated with it. Pop-up shower chances will continue into the beginning of next week, though will stick around the 20% mark as of now. Any rain is beneficial, so this is a welcome sight for the end of the forecast.
