Temperatures starting Monday will be in the upper 60’s and could have some isolated rain showers moving through the region, before Tuesday appears mostly sunny with the temperatures rising into the mid 70’s across the region.
Once we head into Wednesday, rain will become more likely and more widespread after noon on Wednesday. This rain will continue to linger off and on for the region through at least Saturday as we are watching a very active pattern head our way. There could be some dry air intruding into the region at some times on Thursday and Friday and we will continue to monitor to see if that actually develops. If that does, then whoever sees that dry air will have lower rainfall totals. Nonetheless, rainfall is expected to be widespread over the next 7 days with the European model suggesting some people could see nearly 2 inches of rain. However, the heaviest axis of rain looks to be across Kentucky into Ohio. We will continue to monitor to see if this shifts, or stays to our west. Most people should stay over a quarter to half inch of rain though, locally.

As we look at the full 7 day forecast, Sunday and Tuesday look like very nice days. Monday will be a nice day outside of the isolated showers that move through. Temperatures stay fairly mild late-week, and they would be warmer, but with the rain and the clouds they should stay below 70.
