Beckley, WV (WOAY) CASA of New River is bringing the Derby to Beckley…but hold your horses, because this time, we’re betting on children’s futures.
Join us on May 2 at 1:00 PM at the Historic Black Knight for Bet on a Child’s Future, a Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser with heart.
Come dressed in your Derby best, hats included, for a chance to win best-dressed honors.
You can expect delicious food, a “Run for the Roses” silent auction, door prizes, live music from West Virginia’s First Lady of Soul, Lady D, and a chance to sip on classic mint juleps from the cash bar.
Every ticket helps CASA of New River provide trained advocates for children who’ve experienced abuse and neglect, giving them a stronger chance at stability, success, and hope for the future.
CASA of New River advocates are sworn officers of the court who go above and beyond to ensure Raleigh County’s children thrive in the face of adversity.
We need your support to place bets where it matters most and ensure that kids who did not get the best start in the race find their footing and ultimately win.
