The coldest weather of the season has descended into southern West Virginia and Mother Nature is not stopping the snow machine.
Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill has the latest forecast information on the Lake Country 3WS morning show (one of our radio partners):
Overall synopsis:
Today: Snow stops at 3 p.m….. few glimpses of sunshine at 4 p.m.
Friday: Drops to 7 above. Red sky in the morning. Flurries 1 p.m. Steady, heavy snow 5 pm to midnight.
Sat: 1 pm to 10 pm…. few heavier snow squalls.
Another 1″ today.
Friday to Saturday: 5″ of new snow.
Next snowfall: Monday night to Wed AM: 3-5″.
Homeowners: Icicles will keep growing. Be sure to remove them ASAP because they can bring down rain spouts and cause injury when falling when temps eventually thaw.
