Beaver FedEx shipping center to close on March 29

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and 17 other attorneys general urge UPS and FedEx to clarify new policies allowing them to specifically track firearm sales and share information with federal agencies.

Beaver, WV (WOAY)- Those of you who use FedEx in Beaver will unfortunately have to find another center for shipping and packaging needs.  

The FedEx shipping center at 176 Lockheed Drive in Beaver will permanently close its doors on March 29.  

In an official statement from the company’s media relations department, FedEx said it regularly evaluates its network to make adjustments that best suit its growing needs.

Team members from the Beaver location will be offered opportunities to work at other stores. 

FedEx states they notified impacted employees several months in advance and assisted them in finding other job opportunities, including relocation assistance for new positions and severance pay.
