Burlington United Methodist Family Services is rebranding into Star of Hope Family Services. As a ministry of the United Methodist Church, the rebranding opens a new chapter in the organization’s 100-year history and honors the legacy upon which it was founded. The organization hopes to continue to serve the great state of west Virginia without changing its approach.
Amy Paul, Star of Hope’s director of marketing and outreach, says “Our mission remains the same, and that is to help our families, children, and individuals within the state of West Virginia. Whether they need residential services, child advocacy center, if they have a recovery that they need for a woman”.
She also says, “with our outreach being in the whole state of West Virginia, the decision to go back to our original name Star of Hope, made a lot of sense to us because we encompass more than just Burlington, West Virginia. We serve the whole state of West Virginia.”
