Arrowhead Bike Farm celebrates second annual women’s weekend

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – The Arrowhead Bike Farm celebrated their second annual women’s weekend.

The weekend event is meant to encourage women to get outside and learn new skills. According to the program’s director, Travis Brown, the Bike Farm often holds event workshops like this to encourage the community to learn more about biking.

“Getting into mountain biking can be intimidating for a lot of folks and we want to make it as approachable as possible. So encouraging women to come to the Bike Farm and practice these skills in a controlled, comfortable place without any outside things to feel intimidated about is very important to us,” Brown said.

The Arrowhead Bike Farm is planning more workshop events for later this year.
