Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) A southern West Virginia entrepreneur is taking her digital storytelling platform in a new direction after gaining support through the Pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition.
Founder of NRG Video Production, Liz Love, says she is transitioning away from client-based video work and building an audience-first media platform centered around storytelling in the New River Gorge region.
Love says the project includes the creation of original content and a fictional cryptid character called “Carnage beast,” designed to become a recognizable symbol tied to the gorge.
She credits the West Virginia Hive and the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority for helping refine her vision and business strategy.
Love says her goal is to create content that not only showcases southern West Virginia but also becomes part of how people experience and talk about the region.
