Logan County, WV (WOAY) – A Logan County man has been arrested on multiple charges as part of a copper theft investigation.
According to a media release from the West Virginia State Police, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, troopers received a complaint from a business to investigate an incident in which copper and other materials were stolen from a fenced storage lot.Â
On Friday, June 12, 2026, 39-year-old Joseph Adam Lett of Holden, WV, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny, and conspiracy.
Troopers were able to identify the suspect with the assistance of surveillance video, allegedly stealing copper and other supplies valued at more than $1,000.
Over the course of the investigation, troopers found that Lett may have been involved in more thefts from the location previously.
Lett was taken to Western Regional Jail, where he is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.Â
