A dry early week leads to rain coming into the area around Tuesday mid-late afternoon and will last into Wednesday afternoon. The heaviest of the rain looks to fall between 2-8AM Wednesday morning. This rain is associated with a cold front, currently moving through Nebraska and Iowa as of 11PM Sunday!

The rain will be fairly heavy at times, leading to the potential for ponding and flash flooding through the areas that experience the heaviest of the rain, mainly north of I-64, where rain totals could exceed an inch and a half

80% chance of rain for Tuesday and Wednesday… mainly overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday morning, where the rain will be heaviest! The cold front comes through and cools the high temperatures late week into the mid 60’s. Your Fabulous Football Friday will be a cool one, with lows dropping into the low to mid 40’s. Definitely bring a jacket if you’re going out to watch the games!
