7th annual Bex Art Festival and Fair kicks off on July 25 in Downtown Beckley

Beckley, WV (WOAY)- The highly anticipated BEX Art Festival and Fair is coming in hot!

The fun kicks off on Friday, July 25th, and continues through Sunday, July 27th, along Neville Street in downtown Beckley.

The streets will be bustling with an exciting outdoor celebration of local creativity featuring art vendors, live music, food and coffee trucks, public art, and interactive experiences for all ages.

Don’t miss “A Rizo/Bickey Show: People and Places” on Friday and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 328 Neville Street.

Admission for the show is $15.

The Get Lifted and Higher Ground Lounge will host an Open House from 4:00 to 9:00, showcasing the “Art Everyday, Art Everywhere!” photo and art exhibition.

On Saturday, July 26th at 5:00 pm, visit The Raleigh Playhouse to catch the powerful documentary “A Promise Kept”, depicting the chronicles of the friendship of outlaw artist Billy Foster and Benny Dunfee.

Tickets are $10.

For all you theatre lovers out there, the WV Collective has you covered with the premiere of its emotional and moving new play, The Last 5 Years, at the Beckley Women’s Club.

The production will run all weekend, starting at 7:00 pm, and tickets are available for purchase at wvcollective.org.

Also happening on Saturday, a one-night-only Tin-Type Portrait Studio, Mystery Script Reading at Hilltop Coffee, A Book signing at Burm Book sellers, Dance and Dine in the Underground, and so much more!

And as for the music? Kicks off at 5 with the Youth Musicians Showcase, followed by live sets from Jonah Carden at 6, Hannah Moore-Hughes at 7, and Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns at 8!
