Beckley, WV (WOAY) If you’re planning a trip to the YMCA of Southern West Virginia, keep in mind the pool is temporarily closed for renovations.
The YMCA is installing a brand-new pool liner to improve the swimming experience and reduce future closures for maintenance and painting.
While the pool is closed, the wellness center remains open, and members are encouraged to take advantage of group exercise classes or schedule a free wellness orientation if they’re new to the equipment.
For updates on the renovation and pool reopening, members can download the YMCA app, enable push notifications, or sign up for pool alerts at the Welcome Center.
The YMCA thanks the community for its patience as improvements are completed.
