WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Wyoming County School Board decided to reinstate the partnership with Tug River Health Association.
The board voted 5 to 0 to reinstate the memorandum of understanding for the partnership with Tug River. The partnership will allow Tug River to provide the students of Wyoming County medical attention that some of them struggle to get. Superintendent Cline was excited to reinstate the partnership.
“I’m really excited about the memorandum of understanding with Tug River Health Association,” said Superintendent Deirdre Cline. “I think it will do wonderful things for kids and their health and their overall well being.”
One of first things the school board plans to do is to use Tug River’s Mobile Health Unit to provide medical care in the more remote schools in the county.
