West Virginia (WOAY) The WVU Medicine Center for Nursing Education will soon begin accepting applications for its next nursing diploma program.
Online applications for the spring 2027 cohort open at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 15.
The 21-month program offers a full tuition waiver, free books, and support services in exchange for a three-year work commitment at any WVU Medicine hospital after graduation.
The Center for Nursing Education is at the WVU Innovation Corporation campus in Morgantown.
The campus provides state-of-the-art simulation rooms, interactive labs, and hospital-based training to prepare students for real-world nursing care.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent by October sixth, along with prerequisite coursework in algebra, chemistry, and English.
Priority applications are due by March 2, with classes for the spring 2027 cohort beginning in January 2027.
