Governor Morrisey appoints John K. Jordan to House of Delegates

Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has appointed John K. Jordan to represent the 42 district in the West Virginia House of Delegates.

This follows Brandon Steele’s resignation, which created a vacancy.

Jordan has been the lead pastor at Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley since 1998. He supervises daily office operations, develops the church’s budget, and manages finances.

He also serves as assistant superintendent of Appalachian Ministry Network, General presbyter of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, and has been a chaplain at Raleigh General Hospital since 2000.

He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands and a Master of Science in church leadership from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
