WVSOM to host auto extrication training scenario on March 17

Lewisburg, WV (WOAY)—Emergency Medicine and Wilderness Medicine club students will conduct an auto-extrication training scenario today from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the West Virginia Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) campus.

The training will take place in an upper parking lot of the Lewisburg campus.

In previous years, community members who saw the training scenario stopped to help or notified law enforcement and emergency personnel.

While actual accidents can still happen, WVSOM wanted to notify the public of this training.

Representatives of the Lewisburg Fire Department, White Sulphur EMX, and WVSOM Campus Security will be on the scene.
