Wintry Weather This Week and Changes for the Weekend

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): Wintry Precipitation will be followed by a warmer weekend. 

TONIGHT: Rain/Snow mix. Temperatures overnight will fall into the upper 20’s to low 30’s

WEDNESDAY: Snow showers to start the day with temperatures reaching a high in the mid 30’s. Snow showers taper off by the afternoon. Snow totals will be elevation dependent with the higher elevations (over 3,000’) reaching 3-4″. The lowlands could see anywhere from a dusting to 2”. The Greenbrier Valley is not expected to see much accumulation but could still see some snow flurries.

THURSDAY: Slick spots on secondary roads possible early. Sunny with temperatures reaching the upper 40’s. 

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with temperatures reaching the mid 50’s. 

THIS WEEKEND: Saturday will be dry with temperatures reaching the upper 50’s. Sunday will be the next chance for rain with temperatures in the low 50’s.
