Winter Returns, Breaks: Mother Nature On Sneezing Fits

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Bursts of snow will accumulate a dusting above 2,000 feet with a few inches above 3 inches above 3,000 feet tonight.

Expect snow squalls to continue through 4-5 a.m. Tuesday. The only schools that could possibly have a delayed start would be western Pocahontas County where 2″ of snow is expected. Tuesday will start cloudy with a rapid transition to sunshine by 11 a.m.! Wednesday will be the warmest day and then a coastal storm will bring about 0.50″ of rain on Friday. In its wake, expect one or two showers Saturday afternoon with a brisk northwest wind. We are guaranteed to warm into the upper 50s at least early next week.
