Weather Update: Stormy Week Ahead

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): The second round of storms will end early this evening and dense fog will develop overnight under clearing skies.

Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill has the forecast update:

TONIGHT: Showers and storms will end between 7-9 p.m. Briefly gusty winds and heavy downpours are expected. Fog will settle in after 9 p.m. and become quite dense overnight. Visibility will drop below one mile.

TUESDAY:  Fog will erode by 9 a.m., with full sunshine expected. A round of storms is likely between 4-7 p.m. Briefly heavy rain and gusty winds likely.

WEDNESDAY: Lots of cloud cover with occasional light to moderate showers.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: Final round of afternoon showers on the heels of a cold front.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Cooler, less humid and dry!
