Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): High pressure will bring clearing skies tonight and Saturday will be warm and dry. Changes are on the horizon for Sunday.
TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY: Clearing skies will allow you to see the moon and planets (see image below). Additionally, after 3 a.m., expect fog development. Saturday will turn sunny after 8:30 a.m. with highs in the upper 80s!
SUNDAY: Expect showers to arrive before dawn and likely exit during the mid-morning. A second round of afternoon showers with a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon will wet the lawns even more. Flooding and severe weather are not expected.
MONDAY AND TUESDAY: These will be two best days of the week with low humidity, pleasant mornings (turn off the AC!) and comfortable afternoons.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY: Likely the two warmest days of the summer thus far but heat indices will not surpass temperatures since dew points will still be in check. Showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday afternoon and will likely linger into Friday.
