Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – In the winter of 2026, local musician Michael Pannell received an ALS diagnosis. ALS is a fatal nervous system disease.
The local music community has done what they do and organized a benefit concert for Michael and his family on Sunday, August 2, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Weathered Ground Brewery in Ghent.
There will be three different live bands playing, a silent auction, and many other ways to donate.
Everyone is invited to attend, of course.
