WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A surplus of volunteers joined together to clear debris from the Allegheny Trail in Greenbrier County.
Volunteers joined forces between the Bear Branch trailhead and Laurel Run trailhead (on the Allegheny Trail) this weekend. A total of 12.5 miles of trail was cleared, including removal of 120 trees. Even Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill pitched in his helping hand at debris and tree removal at the Bear Branch trailhead on Saturday. Volunteers were rewarded with dinner and camping!
