Nicholas County, WV (WOAY) – Senator Shelley Moore Capito made several stops in Nicholas County today.
She toured the Nicholas County Adult Education Center to meet with the leadership and tour the facility.
She also received the Legacy Leader of Adult Education award for her work helping support adult leaders.
She also toured Richwood Elementary, Middle, and High Schools to get an update on progress since the schools reopened last year.
Capito helped secure the FEMA funding that helped rebuild the schools following flooding in 2016.
