Tazewell, VA (WOAY) – A Southwest VA canine and his handler participate in a competition with other Virginia canine teams.
According to a post on the Tazewell County Virginia Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, K9 Reni and his handler Cpl. Rowe represented Tazewell County in the 2025 Iron Dog Competition in Fauquier County, VA.
The Tazewell County team took first place in Criminal Area Search and second in the Hard Dog/Fast Dog competition.
41 canine teams participated in the hosted by the Virginia Police K9 Association.
