Summers County, WV (WOAY) A local school community is stepping up to help after a devastating fire.
Logan Elementary School suffered a fire this past weekend, leaving classrooms with nearly nothing.
Now, students and staff at Summers County Comprehensive High School are organizing a supply drive to help them rebuild.
They’re collecting school supplies like pencils, paper, crayons, folders, glue sticks, dry-erase markers, and paint sets, along with basic cleaning items including tissues, wipes, hand sanitizer, and trash bags.
Donations can be dropped off at the front office.
Organizers say every item, big or small, will make a difference as Logan Elementary works to recover.
