Some Raleigh County Schools unable to offer feeding program

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Beginning Monday, March 23, Raleigh County Schools will be providing meals for 5 days. On Monday, schools in Raleigh County will be providing students with 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches from 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM.

The following schools will be unable to offer Grab and Go due to limited supplies: Coal City, Fairdale, Ridgeview, and Shady Spring High. Please go to the nearest school to pick up Grab & Go if your school is not serving.

In addition, all remote feeding sites that beganĀ operating on Friday will be delivering students 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches.

To address student instructional needs, Raleigh County Schools will be providing activities, tips, and information via social media and our county website.

This situation is ever-changing, as Superintendent Price receives information he will be providing updates via social media, county website, and SchoolMessenger phone notifications.
