Fayette County, WV (WOAY) Around noon this Saturday, a climber survived a 30-foot fall from a cliff on the Endless Wall Trail near Lansing-Edmond Road in the New River Gorge National Park.
In a joint special operations response involving a rope team, firefighters from Fayetteville, Anstead, Pax, Oak Hill, and Nutwell worked with the National Park Service to rescue the woman.
According to a statement from Fayette County Dispatch, the climber was treated at the scene and miraculously walked away with minor injuries.
