WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- On Saturday, December 14th, there was a shooting investigation in Wyoming County.
Rhonda Goins, of Matheny, was charged with Malicious Wounding and Possession of a Firearm by Prohibited Person. Goins was charged after the West Virginia State Police investigated a shooting complaint troopers received Saturday.
When they responded to the complaint they had found Troy Morgan, also from Matheny, with a single gunshot wound to his upper left thigh. After performing life-saving measures, the situation was investigated and they then arrested Goins.
Goins was charged and released on a $10,000 bond.
Continuing in Wyoming County as there is another shooting investigation.
Austin Cline was charged with Wanton Endangerment, Domestic Assault, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. On Sunday, December 15th, the West Virginia State Police investigated a shooting complaint troopers received.
When they responded to the complaint they found out that Cline shot at the victim, his uncle Teddy Toler, and hit at the ground during a domestic dispute.
Cline is currently at SRJ waiting for his hearing.
