Shooting in Beckley leaves one injured and man charged with attempted murder

RALEIGH COUNTY (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, states that just before 9 a.m. earlier today, April 17th, the sheriff’s office was called to a shooting on Arbor Lane in Lanark.

Shortly after the call, police arrived and were able to apprehend the suspect, Myles Williams of the shooting and provide first aid to the victim of the shooting.

The victim is at a local hospital and police believe they did not receive any life-threatening injuries.

Williams has been charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of wanton endangerment, one count of felon in possession of a firearm, and a felony capias.

A Raleigh county magistrate arraigned him and is on a 135,000 dollar bond in Southern Regional Jail.
