Congratulations to Pineville Middle School for being named one of the 50 state winners in the 14th annual Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest.
Pineville Middle will receive $12,000 as a prize!
This national competition helps kids use the knowledge they gain from STEM to address issues they face in their communities.
Their project showed tap water quality in their community and the increase of cancer and other diseases.
After they studied their water, they built a water filter from sustainable materials to help make their drinking water safer!
