Richlands, Va (WOAY) – A southwest VA police agency is extending its application deadline.
According to a post from the Richlands Police Department Facebook page, the police department will extend the deadline for applications to April 11, 2025. Thats the same day the department will conduct physical testing.
Physical testing begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Richlands police department. Officials with Richlands Police Department ask applicants to wear comfortable athletic clothing on this date. Candidates should consider wearing business attire during follow up interviews if granted the opportunity.
Those wishing to apply can stop in and grab an application anytime. Officials with Richlands Police Department recommend that applicants allow the adequate amount of time to have the application packet notarized when applying.
